<Before revision, when my nose looked bulky><After revision>Even for my first surgery, I thought I had done a decent amount of research before getting it, but in the end, it wasn’t the nose shape I wanted, and the bridge to the tip looked bulky… It wasn’t just in my head, so I ended up getting revision surgery Revision surgery costs much more than the first surgery, and there are more limitations when choosing materials, so I think I got pretty stressed while looking into it… But the cost was expensive no matter which hospital I went to, and some places even told me honestly that my nose probably wouldn’t change that dramatically So instead of dwelling too much on those comments, I went around for consultations and got the surgery with the mindset that I just wanted to get away from my current nose I didn’t want to make my nose extremely high and flashy, just raise it to a naturally defined degree, so I didn’t use overly high silicone, and I used autologous costal cartilage for the nasal tip. I originally considered other materials, but I really wanted to make the tip look definitely slimmer, so I chose this… I also strongly felt that I never wanted to have a third surgery again Honestly, I’m not sure if revision surgery recovers more slowly than the first surgery or hurts more… I think the autologous costal cartilage harvesting site was what bothered me the most. But even that got better in less than 2 weeks. Instead, I deliberately tried not to move my upper body much, and even when getting up from lying down, I kind of rolled my body? and got up while moving like that Like I said earlier, you can think of it as something you only have to struggle with for about a week? I like my nose shape sooooo much more now… The fact that my nose became slimmer really feels like the decisive move. Looking back now, during my first surgery, I didn’t really talk specifically about the shape of the nasal tip. I think that was the biggest mistake. Don’t just think, “The clinic will take care of it~” Everyone, you have to request every single detail and really check everything, even the nasolabial angle and columella, for the surgery to succeed
