ㄸㅋ Plastic Surgery / Director ㄱㅎㅅ
I had eye surgery 8 years ago and had my first round of fat grafting 2 years ago hahaha I heard this doctor was famous for eye surgery even at his previous hospital, so I went in with high expectations. I have eyes that look hollow and tired, so I really wanted to meet a doctor who was truly good..
When the doctor came in, I showed him the photos I wanted one after another, and he made several lines for me. Among them, I liked the second line he made the most.. Just at first glance, it was the size where the eyelid skin didn’t get swallowed in and the pupils looked the clearest? The others were fine too, but thin lines aren’t my taste, and for the ones that were too thick, I wondered, can I pull this off? So when I said I liked the second line the most, the doctor said that in his view too, this line was the most ideal one. What I liked most was that since mine is a revision, I thought it would definitely have to be incisional, but it was possible with natural adhesion,,, if natural adhesion is possible, that’s the best option to go with..
And another thing I was debating was whether to be a little greedy and get a canthoplasty or not, but the doctor told me not to, saying my eyes were already big enough. Other than that, what I wanted to consult about together was under-eye fat repositioning and fat grafting, and to just say the conclusion, doing them together could create a synergistic effect. Since I really don’t have much fat on my face.. But since I’m still young, he didn’t strongly recommend it, and said to do it if I’m usually very stressed about it, so it felt like he gave me the decision-making power. Overall, the consultation was thorough and delicate, yeah. The consultation itself was good.
The consultant also didn’t pressure me, so I said I’d think about it for now and left.. Because it was my first hospital.... The hospital was clean, and all the staff were kind, good good. I think I’ll decide after going to more consultations.
