They say almost everyone has asymmetry, with the only difference being whether it is more or less severe. I also had severe asymmetry starting from my double eyelids, as well as the length and size of my eyes and the height of the outer eye corners. On top of that, because my outer eye corners were upturned, the visible amount of sclera was small and my irises were partly covered, making my eyes look stuffy, so I started considering lateral/lower canthoplasty. Since each person’s natural bone structure is different, the degree of canthoplasty inevitably differs too. In my case, rather than extending backward, the lowered outer corners increased the visible amount of sclera, which relieved the stuffy look, and I think my eyes became naturally widened. It has now been about a month since I had dual canthoplasty. At first after the lateral/lower canthoplasty, I wondered, did my impression change? But as time went on, the shape of my eyes changed and gradually became more and more natural~! Because of my closed-looking outer eye corners, my side profile always looked stuffy, but after lower canthoplasty, my eyes look much more open, so I feel I did really well. I was worried there might be side effects, but after meeting Dr. Kim, I feel like I got pretty eyes that are natural and not excessive. I’m satisfied that I resolved my concerns about my eyes, and I just hope the results maintain well^^
This is a surgical review pursuing a naturally glamorous look.
