Eye Surgery Reviews

One-week review/question after incisional double eyelid surgery (no ptosis correction, didn’t have it done) everyone, please give me your thoughts

I only had incisional double eyelid surgery (I didn’t have ptosis correction), and it’s been about a week. But is it normal to feel a pulling sensation when opening my eyes? Before double eyelid surgery, opening my eyes felt comfortable, but after the surgery, my eyes feel tight and my eyelids feel heavy when I open them (like sleepy eyelids after staying up all night). Especially when I try to look upward, I end up frowning with my forehead. This never happened before double eyelid surgery.. Is this a side effect? Is it because the fixation was done too tightly, or because too much tissue was removed? Or is it simply because of swelling? Both eyes feel tight, but one side in particular feels much tighter That one side especially feels like something is sitting on top of my eye every time I open it, and the eyelid feels heavy. The double eyelid line is almost an inner double eyelid right now, so the swelling has gone down quite a lot. But since I didn’t have ptosis correction, I’m wondering why this is happening.. I’m scared and worried that something might have gone wrong Does this mean I need revision surgery? Everyone reading this, please leave a reply, I’m begging you It’s really serious
