Now that I’ve done it, it is hard, but I think I’m glad I did it! Before surgery, I got recommendations for conscientious hospitals that don’t over-recommend procedures and went around for consultations. The director at Bondi told me I didn’t necessarily need to do my chin tip, and said that if I wanted to create the face shape I wanted, I shouldn’t touch the chin tip. He explained in detail that if the chin tip length is reduced, rather than making the face look slimmer, it could actually make it look rounder, and I was really grateful. I liked that he explained why it wouldn’t work in a way that was easy to understand. Two other hospitals recommended a three-part surgery including the chin tip, but I liked that this director seemed to recommend only the necessary and effective procedures, and in that sense I felt he performs surgery conscientiously. He also explained well why I shouldn’t do the chin tip, so I felt reassured. I’m now on day 3, so my face and lips are very swollen, but the swelling will naturally go down over time, right?^^
