First of all, even if you make an appointment for a consultation, you still wait a really long time lol.. I had an appointment at 4:30 and arrived at 4:10, but they said I would have to wait more than an hour, and since I had plans afterward and the round trip would take over an hour, I just left; I rescheduled for the next day, but even then, I think I had a 3:00 appointment and went in at 4:00.. Also, I went without designating a specific director, so they said the director I wanted would finish surgery at 5:30. I briefly consulted only with the consultant, waited again, and had the consultation at 5:30. Just the waiting time was 2 to 3 hours.. lol This place is apparently famous for long consultation waits even with reservations.
As for the consultation itself, the consultant said implant-free surgery was possible and that they were famous for it, but when I spoke with the director, they said implant-free was possible but recommended an implant. Also, the director has a nose shape they like. I like short noses, but they said that is not a pretty nose and talked about the medium-length nose shape they prefer. Overall, since I went in knowing nothing, the consultation itself was good for gaining information, but hmm, it felt like the director has a very fixed shape they personally want.
And I don't know if it was because it was right after surgery, but they did not explain things in detail. They just looked at my nose, I told them the nose I wanted, we talked a little, and then they quickly wrote down surgeries one after another, like alar base incision, columella lengthening, and so on, up to about 7 procedures. They did not explain each one, and then the consultant came right in and gave me the estimate hehe.. My friend told me to think carefully about the alar base incision, so only now did I realize it may be a surgery that scars somewhat easily. They did not explain at all where they would make incisions or anything like that.
