Breast Surgery Reviews

Review up to day 4 after surgery (slim body type)

From the moment I decided to have surgery until I actually did it, the help I received from this community would not be an exaggeration if I said it was over 80%, so I’m finally posting my review too.^^ I was a complete flat-chested girl at 164 cm and 43 kg (it feels strange to say that in the past tense, hehe). I was so thin -_- While looking for information, there weren’t many reviews from people who had surgery and were as thin as I was, and because I was so thin there were so many things I had to consider. Being too thin was also a complex of mine, but since you only live once, I thought I should try on all the pretty lingerie, sexy lingerie, and bikinis I wanted to wear. I had a severe complex about my chest since high school, and after carrying that worry for almost 10 years, I finally went through with it lol. I decided on the hospital after two consultations. Both of those places were ones I had looked up in this community and thought were good, so I chose them for consultation. Still, since it was major surgery, before the operation I wondered if deciding after only looking at two places was too hasty, but now I think I made the right choice. The surgery went through safely without any problems.^^ I saw some people asking how I paid for the surgery, and for me it was half year-end bonus and half savings in cash, and half by card (3 months interest-free). I went with Motiva textured implants and had an incision under the breast fold. Actually, the pressure from massage and pain was a huge burden, and if you put smooth implants under the muscle, you can’t do chest-muscle exercises at all. If you want textured implants placed under the muscle and above the fascia (roughly between the muscles), you have to use an incision under the breast, but I was told I’d still be able to enjoy sports like water skiing and wakeboarding that use the chest muscles. The problem was the scar, but I figured that whether it was an armpit scar or an under-breast scar, either way it was something I’d have to hide if I wore a tank top and couldn’t raise my arms high, so I made my decision.^^; Was that foolish? ㅡ.ㅡ I haven’t seen the scar yet, so for now I think I did well, and I don’t want to regret it. The size was 203 cc. I had no upper-body fat and my chest circumference was only 67, so the doctor said it should probably be around 200 cc. Actually, while reading reviews, a lot of people said to go bigger, and even slim people usually go well over 200 cc, so I was a little disappointed, but I wasn’t trying to go extremely large. I wanted a safe surgery, so I decided to trust the doctor’s choice and went into the operating room. <Day of surgery> Entered at 9:50 / Woke up from anesthesia at 12:45? My mouth was dry and I was dizzy, but I felt so relieved and happy that it had ended safely. That was also because my mom was by my side.^^ I drank a little water and there were no problems, so I even ordered seaweed soup. I didn’t have much nausea or queasiness, so I had less of a hard time. Luckily^^;; I went to the bathroom often, and they said I’d be discharged once I could pee comfortably, but the last time it didn’t feel quite refreshing so I had a bit of trouble lol I was discharged safely and then I ate meat lol I don’t know why I suddenly craved food so much;; They told me to be careful because eating greasy, spicy, and salty food could make me vomit, so I ate slowly and carefully, but I still ate salt-grilled jowl meat deliciously and even bought pumpkin porridge to take home lol After I digested a bit, I ate some more pumpkin porridge... I really do eat well lol I had to sleep, but on the first day they told me to sleep with my upper body raised, so I stacked three pillows and dozed on and off in light sleep. But the pain was not as bad as I expected, so I didn’t take any extra painkillers. <Day 2 after surgery> I went out and met my boyfriend to eat. It rained a lot, so I bought an umbrella, but I couldn’t fold it back up. I couldn’t put strength into my hands.^^; Anyway, I went to the hospital, took off the compression bandage, and looked in the mirror. So shy;; I was too embarrassed to say anything at the hospital, but I joked to my mom, saying, “It’s so big~~” lol I’m satisfied. Hahahaha;; It feels amazing that someone who was really flat-chested could become like this. Once the swelling goes down, it’ll probably get a little smaller, but I really want to be satisfied with it as it is and live this way.^^ Not too big, not too small... I’m happy. I wrapped myself lightly in a bandage and left the hospital. My older sister said that tomorrow I’d be wearing a sports bra, so told me to go buy one somewhere, so I headed to Shinsegae. There was a place having an underwear sale, and just thinking that someday I’d be able to wear pretty lingerie like that made me smile just looking at it.. pfft;; I thought, “Let’s buy that later,” and bought a sports bra and a hooded zip-up that’s easy to put on and take off, then shopped slowly. I came back to my neighborhood, watched DVDs with my boyfriend, and spent an hour or two at an internet cafe^^;; I’m really acting like nothing happened, right;; I was worried a lot about pain and I hate being in pain, so I was really nervous, but I ended up doing everything I wanted to do. Maybe because it wasn’t an armpit incision, the pain was less. That day I slept lying on my back, on my side, and in every position, and slept straight through for 12 hours, very comfortably. <Day 3 after surgery> My hair had gotten so greasy that I wondered if I should go to a salon, but my mom washed my hair for me while I lay on the bathroom threshold;; Hahahahahahaha As expected, mom is the best, and I felt refreshed after washing my hair too; I left home alone, transferred twice, and took the subway for about 50 minutes to the hospital. I was worried the person in front of me might suddenly swing their elbow back, but I got there safely. Wearing the sports bra was much more comfortable. Maybe because it’s textured; they already said I could wear a sports bra and get the stitches removed next week. That evening I ate without any problems, went on a date, and came back home. <Day 4 after surgery, today> I slept well again today and woke up without even eating breakfast, and since I was thinking about this community, I’m writing this review. I have to go to work tomorrow, but in case they send me on a car errand, I’m going with my hand wrapped up and saying I hurt it -_-;;; lol They said I shouldn’t use my arms too much; it’s a bit sneaky, but I’m worried about inflammation.. There are many people who have a hard time after surgery, so I feel a bit sorry posting that I’ve been fine without major issues... but I posted it because I thought it might help even a little and give hope to people who are worrying alone about having small breasts. I just wanted to be confident as a woman, and now I think I’ll be able to deal with people more confidently. To everyone who is recovering after surgery, hang in there. I’ll definitely post photos once I’ve settled more and recovered a lot too. (They may be obvious because I’m so thin, but for people with the same worries as me;;;) Thank you for reading such a long post.
