<Before surgery><Day of surgery><Week 2><Week 3><Month 1><Month 2><Month 3><Month 4><Month 5>[Before surgery] The director explained in detail how the surgery would be performed, so I felt reassured and decided I could trust them and go ahead with the surgery! Also, they said they would proceed with the surgery by minimizing it to only the necessary areas, without any overtreatment, which I really liked! Everyone at the hospital was so kind, and they took good care of me even after the surgery! [Week 1 after surgery] Maybe because the swelling inside my mouth has gone down, I can slightly feel the stitches inside my mouth when I eat. And I can feel the cheek swelling going down a lot, but I still have bruising on my neck. There is no difficulty at all with opening my mouth, swallowing, or breathing! Walking is helping a lot with reducing the swelling haha [Week 2 after surgery] I can see that a lot of the swelling has gone down..! And I apply ointment morning and evening so that scars do not remain around the sideburn area..! I’m also diligently doing warm compresses, and although there are still foods I can’t eat when having meals (tteokbokki, meat, etc.), I can eat noodles if I cut them into small pieces, and there are no major problems! [Month 1 after surgery] Overall, it feels like my lower face has become much smaller. There is some hollowing around the cheekbone area, but it seems to be filling in. A lot of the swelling has gone down, but I think there is still some swelling around the mouth.! I also diligently wore the facial compression band for a month..! [Month 2 after surgery] For food, except for very tough meat, I can eat tteokbokki and other things if I’m careful! The muscles around my cheekbones have loosened a lot, so it doesn’t feel awkward when I smile, and although the swelling in my cheeks that felt like I was holding round candies in my mouth has gone down a lot, there is still a little swelling, so I’m diligently managing the swelling! When I use a sheet mask, I can feel that my face has gotten smaller! Other than diligently applying scar ointment, there is nothing uncomfortable or anything else I need to pay special attention to! [Month 3 after surgery] Everyone keeps asking if I lost weight hahaha A lot of the swelling has gone down, so my facial line has started to show much more! At one point, the cheek hollowing got a little worse, so I was a bit worried, but as time passed, it seemed to fill in a lot, so now I don’t really pay attention to it! Now the scars around the cheekbones have also disappeared to some extent, and it doesn’t hurt much even if something touches my cheekbones! I feel more satisfied as the line seems to be showing more and more! [Month 4 after surgery] Now the swelling has really gone down a lot, so people around me seem to notice the changes more. I’ve heard people ask if I lost weight or got a procedure, and I’m so satisfied because the line looks much more refined and naturally prettier. There are really no issues now with opening my mouth and chewing, and the scars inside my mouth and around the sideburns have faded a lot, so I don’t really pay attention to them! [Month 5 after surgery] Because of swelling under my chin, it looked like there was some fat there, but I can visibly see that a lot of the swelling has gone down! When sleeping or eating, I can go about daily life so comfortably without thinking about it, to the point that I almost forget I had surgery. When I compare photos or videos from before and now, it definitely seems noticeably different, so I’m satisfied! Even when taking selfies, there is a clear difference from before surgery, and I can see that my face has gotten smaller!
