Nose Surgery Reviews

I’m 3 months post-op from revision surgery for a male hump nose, saddle nose, and wide nose

I don’t know if I got the order of surgeries wrong.. People usually say to get nose surgery after two-jaw surgery, but I had two-jaw surgery after getting nose surgery. Maybe because of that, after the two-jaw surgery my nose spread out a lot and the nasal bridge also collapsed. So I even developed a hump that I didn’t have before, and my nasal tip started drooping too I’m happy with the two-jaw surgery itself, but after the two-jaw surgery it felt like my nose was ruined. Since my nose had already been operated on once, I also felt burdened about getting revision surgery, and I heard that if nose surgery goes wrong, there is a possibility of needing multiple revision surgeries, so I carefully looked for information and got revision rhinoplasty at the clinic whose reviews I liked the most. I liked that they specialize only in nose surgery, and that they only do one surgery per day. When I went for follow-ups, I could see the director comfortably too, so I liked that part. Now I’m at 3 months, and it has definitely improved a lot, and the clinic has taken a lot of care of me during this time. Since it was done without an implant, maybe because there is no silicone in the nasal bridge, it feels stable, and because it’s autologous costal cartilage, I think I can definitely worry less about drooping now. They said the nasal tip will come down even more than it is now as time passes. These days I do a lot of weight training and cardio, and now that time has passed, the area where the autologous costal cartilage was harvested doesn’t hurt at all, so there are no restrictions at all when exercising or going about daily life. They also made the incision neatly at about 2 cm, so the scar is not very noticeable, and I’m satisfied. Still, I plan to keep applying scar ointment consistently for years and manage it so it fades. For now, I like the shape of my nose from both the front and side, and I definitely feel more confident. I’m going to keep taking good care of it and watch it until it settles completely, at 6 months and 1 year! For those who are struggling with a widened nose after two-jaw surgery like me, I think it would be good to refer to my review.
