First, I had double eyelid surgery right around this time last year, so exactly 1 year has passed. It wasn’t a hospital in the Seoul metropolitan area, and I went for a consultation half-doubtful because an acquaintance recommended it. Honestly, I was worried because I only went around to three places for consultations. I showed a photo of Winter and asked them to make it look glamorous, but the doctor said he would make it suit me well, marked the line, and we went into surgery. (I kept fiercely going back and forth with the doctor until the very end asking him to raise the line. I wanted an outline crease, but thinking about it now, I think I’m glad I did an in-outline crease.) Especially before the double eyelid surgery, my eyes were so, so, so hard to do makeup on, but now it’s completely easy. They look pretty even with just eyeliner. After 1 year, I don’t think it looks very obvious either. (Based on reactions around me.) Oh, and before surgery, I had never once been told I looked better with a mask on, and back when everyone benefited from wearing masks, I was the only one who just heard things like my lower face was pretty. But now, I’m most satisfied that I look pretty even with a mask on. It feels like my eyes got twice as big. Whenever people around me take things like Photo Gray with me, they each say something like, “Why are your eyes so big?” (Of course, after double eyelid surgery haha.) I saw a lot of people post makeup photos in their reviews, so I’m uploading one with makeup and one without makeup. Of course, they’re all unedited regular-camera photos!)
