The director is the type to give blunt reality checks. To put it nicely, they seemed objective and professional, but they are absolutely not the friendly type. It wasn’t bad, but I wasn’t strongly drawn to them. The consultant in charge seemed like a bully. I hadn’t done anything, but just because I asked a few surgery-related questions, she looked down on me and got into a one-sided power struggle. It was fascinating.
