I originally wore double eyelid tape while going to school for about a year, 4–5 days a week, but it was honestly so uncomfortable, and there were limits to achieving the eyes I wanted with tape. It was also really inconvenient when doing makeup, and if it got messy, it was hard to fix. So I decided to just go ahead with double eyelid surgery! While searching through reviews, the eyes done by Director Cho Yong-jin at ㅌㅌㅇ Plastic Surgery all had exactly the kind of feeling I wanted, so I was drawn to it right away! The eyes I wanted were somewhat horizontally long and defined (a soft, pretty feeling hehe). I also wanted them to look natural, not too artificial, and to suit my face well! My eyes originally had some multiple creases and a slight double eyelid, so non-incisional surgery was possible, but I was told it could come undone, so I chose the incisional method. Honestly, I was most worried about scarring, but now, 3 months after surgery, the scar is barely visible, and the upper canthoplasty I had done together looks really natural too!!! Also, maybe because I received swelling laser treatments several times as aftercare, the swelling went down really quickly even though I had the incisional method! I was actually worried the price would be extremely expensive, but it didn’t go that much over my budget, and I’m so satisfied with everything from the process to the aftercare and the results!! My friends have asked me so many times where I got it done, and I’m recommending it a lot too haha
