Since it was my first eye surgery consultation, there were things I didn’t know and I couldn’t really think of questions, so I ended up talking a bit clumsily and not quite the way I intended. But they spoke to me like they were scolding me, so I couldn’t say anything, and I figured even if I argued back or asked another question, they’d be like that anyway, so I just left. The consultant asked me if I had seen what it looks like after posterior canthoplasty surgery (not before-and-after photos, but what it looks like on day N), and when I said I hadn’t, she sighed while talking. It was annoying that she judged things however she wanted, in a weird direction that didn’t match my purpose for surgery (like, “this surgery is done for this, but it doesn’t seem like you’re trying to have surgery for that purpose,” that kind of thing).
