<Procedure review of Doctor Holmes Clinic>This was my first time getting a procedure called under-eye fat repositioning at a plastic surgery clinic.. I was tempted because they said they were running an event at a low price.. I should have looked into other places too, but I had no time and had to go abroad right away (assigned to an overseas branch) ... But that was the problem.. When I first got the consultation, an older grandmother-looking woman wearing glasses did the consultation, and she said they would do under-eye fat repositioning at the event price of 399,000 won. But then she said I had to get under-eye filler with it and asked for an additional 500,000 won.. So I said, didn’t the ad say 399,000 won... I said just do the fat removal... She said to at least get one filler injection, so I paid an additional 250,000 won and got it... After that, they agreed to check again after 2 weeks, and if there was no effect, they would redo the surgery for free... Instead, they said I would have to get filler again.. Up to that point.. I just thought it was a sales tactic, and if the procedure had been done perfectly, I thought I wouldn’t need to worry about anything related to my under-eyes again.. I was thinking of just adding freckle or blemish removal.. After 2 weeks, the swelling went down and I looked, but the under-eye fat was still the same... So I complained to the clinic.. I had another consultation.. But during this re-consultation, I complained that the under-eye fat was still the same, and they said it could get better if we waited a little longer, so let’s see in two months.. (Two months later) During the consultation, while looking in the mirror, I argued, didn’t you say last time that if there was no effect after two months, you would redo the procedure for free.. Then she said let’s watch a little longer because the under-eye fat could decrease more... So I said I don’t have time either, and asked them to redo the procedure as they had said last time.. Then suddenly she irritably moved the mirror away in an irritated way... saying, no, if we watch a little longer, it could decrease more.. If at that point we do the fat repositioning surgery that costs around 400-something thousand won (I don’t remember the exact amount) for free, isn’t that enough.. (Here too, she emphasized that I still had to get under-eye filler) We’ll redo the under-eye procedure for free, but you have to get filler again... So I said I don’t have time either, can’t I get the procedure today... Then she said if I pay 500,000 won right now, they would do the procedure... I was like, what does that mean.. I wondered if it was because they initially asked for two filler injections but I only got one, so I said since I got one last time, I’ll just get one more... Then she said if I pay 500,000 won right now, they would do it, otherwise let’s do it next time..... I was stunned for a moment.. Then I thought there was no point talking more, and with the mindset of, fine, I’ll come next time and hear what they say, I visited again 2 months later, and the story changed.. They said redoing the procedure for free would be difficult, and since it seems like the fat decreased a little, let’s just put in filler... I was like, in a fat repositioning procedure, if the fat is still there, what effect would filler alone have... Still, just in case, I had the procedure... After the procedure, I directly told the director what happened during the consultation with the consultant, and the director said under-eye fat. procedure. needs to be done twice.. They said one time may not have an effect. Then why not say that from the start? If they had said one procedure may not be effective, wouldn’t I have thought about it more carefully again... And the procedure cost is not small either. (If done twice) It’s not cheaper than other places either, so rather than saying something about free this and that and making me get additional filler, I think it would be more beneficial for both sides and build more trust to explain honestly from the beginning. In the end, there was no effect... The basic issue is the same... There’s no way there would be an effect... To just state the conclusion, the consultant was extremely unfriendly (I wondered how someone could consult like that. I even wondered if she was the director’s relative or a loan shark. Or maybe she’s only kind to people who will bring in money). Anyway, the under-eye fat repositioning procedure had no effect, the consultant was unfriendly. Don’t trust ads for no reason; compare several places, search Google reviews, and go after seeing real reviews... This place advertises as if it’s cheap with events and all, but in reality it’s more expensive than other places, has no effect, and the consultant is unfriendly. I lost around 1 million won on a simple procedure with no effect... For reference, there was someone who came after seeing an ad similar to mine (I happened to overhear while sitting there).. But they had a different consultant.. That person was very blunt and honest... That person was better, if anything...
