I knew nothing when I got my first under-eye fat repositioning surgery, booked it the same day at a factory-style plastic surgery clinic, and had the surgery, but it turned out horribly. My eyes were at least the prettiest part of my face, but the shape of my eyes itself completely changed. Originally my lower eyelid line was a curved U-shape, but it got pulled upward into a straight line, making my impression look harsh, and it covers my dark pupils. Overall, my eyes became smaller and more stuffy-looking. I still even have tear troughs, and if anything the grooves got worse. People say there’s no difference from before, and that I actually look more hollow and gaunt. I already didn’t have much under-eye fat, and my tear troughs were severe so my eyes looked sunken, but I don’t know if they removed fat because my eyes look even more hollowed out. They said they strengthened the septum, but I don’t know if adhesions formed; my eye shape completely changed and my eyes got smaller. It’s been 7 months now, but I’m mentally wrecked and I still really hate looking in the mirror. I just want to die every day and I’m full of regret. Is there anyone here who had a case like mine and had their eye shape restored through revision surgery or adhesion release? It’s okay if my under-eyes look hollow. I really just want to go back to how I looked before under-eye fat repositioning.
