After a long deliberation, I had surgery today, together with facial remodeling.... But.. my nose is only very slightly crooked. Not enough to justify bone correction... When I had a consultation last time before surgery, they said my skin was thin, so they suggested doing it with Gore-Tex.... But after I paid for the surgery today, right before surgery they suddenly changed it to silicone,,, because I had negotiated the price down quite a bit. When I asked why they were changing it, they said that if a slightly crooked nose is done with Gore-Tex, there’s a high chance it will become even more crooked after it settles, and that silicone may show a little more than Gore-Tex but would still be less likely to curve, so they thought silicone would be better, so for now I went with silicone, 4m,,,, Are they just saying that because I lowered the cost a lot... I feel a bit uneasy. They should have said that from the first consultation.. changing it on the day of surgery... I’m anxious that something might go wrong..... It was done as an open procedure, and they used silicone and ear cartilage...
