The consultant at the hospital I visited when I first went for revision eye surgery felt strong-willed, but she was on the kind side. The doctor was cynical, and rather than first talking about the surgical direction, he mostly answered based on my questions. For things that were possible/not possible, and things that really seemed not possible, he pushed back.
