Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

I really can’t stand it. I want to punch my nose with my fist.

Hello^^ I share this ID with one friend, and my friend had a needle inserted into the glabella today to draw blood. There was already blood pooling there from before, but my friend’s seemed to be a bit more pooled, so I posted the story below, and it’s cute, but there were no comments, so I’m embarrassed, hehe. My friend had closed rhinoplasty last month, got an infection, and had surgery again this time. I really hope she doesn’t get any infection or have to go through revision surgery again. Please pray for my friend (sob sob sob) Now I’ll talk about me. I had a surgery appointment for the 10th at 4 o’clock and went in, but the hospital kept telling me to come at 11, then at 3, then at 3:20. They kept saying all sorts of things, but in the end they did it at 4. Before the surgery, they first put something like an IV in my left hand, then I waited for the director to come. I tried teasing the nurses a bit to relax myself. Actually, even before that, I wasn’t nervous at all because I was so focused on becoming prettier. I just went in feeling calm, had my nose hairs trimmed, and got the IV. But the nose-hair trimming was so funny that I almost spat on the nurse’s face while trying to hold in my laughter. Anyway, I got up on the operating table in a relaxed state, and my hair is ridiculously long, right? But the nurse said my hair was long and tied it up for me, and because my hair was so heavy I struggled a bit. Then some unlucky nurse put something cold on my leg and attached something beeping to my right hand, and I’m not exactly sure what it was, but she also clipped on something like a clothespin to measure my heart rate. Then the unlucky nurse tied my arms and legs down. I like the nurse who trimmed my nose hairs, but... while that nurse was doing something else, why was this unlucky nurse tying my arms and legs? Ah, so annoying... I was just thinking that when the director came in. Then the unlucky nurse immediately said, “Your arm might feel numb for a bit.” From reading lots of reviews, I thought it would be more like, “Sleep well~” or “The anesthesia is going in~,” but instead of anything sweet, in a flat voice she just said, “Your arm might feel numb.” I was like, huh, what? It doesn’t feel numb at all? What is this? and then I guess I fell asleep. After that I can’t remember anything. When I came to, the nurses were all shouting for me to wake up, and the director had already finished the surgery and gone out. In the recovery room, my mom was waiting, and she said that around the time my surgery ended, I had said, “Aaaah!!! It hurts!!!!” And I was bleeding a lot, so it took about 2 hours and 30 minutes altogether. Crazy, right? By then I was out of it, dazed, and didn’t care what the nurses said or did, I just thought I should go home and sleep. They told me to rest for an hour in the recovery room, but I told my mom let’s go home right away because I was hungry... So instead of waiting two hours to eat, I just bought abalone porridge and ate it right away. My nose was packed with cotton, so I couldn’t taste anything, but I gulped it down. Since I had to fast for 4 hours before anesthesia, I was hungry (I’m not a pig). Up to that point I thought, Ah, nose surgery, it’s easy? It’s nothing? What, that’s it? So if I just take care of it well, do cold compresses, and drink pumpkin juice, then it’s over? That’s what I thought, but really......................... wow I was so tired that when I tried to sleep, there was cotton stuffed in my nose, right? From that, blood kept streaming out, streaming and streaming. When I sat up, blood came out of my nose, and when I stacked five layers of pillows behind me and tried to sleep while leaning back, blood ran down my throat and interfered with breathing through my mouth, so I couldn’t sleep. It’s seriously miserable. And I kept sneezing. It was like, “Aechh-chchchchchchchchchch.” It’s not “cough cough.” Hehe. And every time I coughed once, more and more mucus would build up in my nose, and it felt like the cotton was getting bigger and bigger... because it was soaking up the mucus. Then the mixture of mucus and blood kept seeping out of the cotton, turning into runny mucus and flowing out... ugh, it’s incredibly miserable, incredibly, incredibly miserable. Anyone who’s had their nose packed with cotton will know...ㅠㅠ The nurse told me to come get it removed two days later, so for two full days I was really suffering, but I kept enduring, and enduring, and enduring. They said to come at 5 p.m., but as soon as the hospital opened I was crying and told my mom I wanted it out right away, so we went to the hospital. But... That manager removed the cotton -- and the cotton was huge. How on earth did that fit in my nose?? I thought it was going to be tiny, but it was really, really big. Then they stuffed in a fresh one again? They said to keep it in for two more days What kind of nonsense is that? I clenched my teeth and endured for two days, and now they want two more days? Wow, I almost screamed. I was nearly in tears as I looked at the manager. And when they remove the cotton, life is over. Seriously, the anesthesia didn’t hurt, the surgery didn’t hurt, my nose doesn’t even hurt, but just having that cotton in there is what makes me furious and insanely annoyed. And taking the cotton out hurts the most. It’s the worst.... Then I asked why I kept sneezing, and they said it was because the cotton was touching the mucous membrane and that it was a normal reaction. So in the end I had to have the cotton put in again. Having cotton in and functioning during the day or at night is okay now, since it’s already been two days and I’ve gotten used to it, but for reference, I couldn’t sleep even one minute with the cotton in... I was sitting on the bed with tissues on one side and a plastic bag on the other, and my butt got a cramp ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ When I tried to doze off and my head tilted back, the mixture of mucus and blood flowed into my throat and disrupted my sleep, and I had to spit what came down from my nose into the plastic bag next to me through my mouth. There’s no benefit to swallowing it because it’s dirty blood. And when mucus comes out, wipe it and put it in the plastic bag, because it’s annoying to keep going back and forth. Then I got lazy about the pumpkin juice and ice packs and didn’t take them, didn’t do them, and my face puffed up like crazy ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ because I was already so annoyed by the cotton. Yesterday I had the cotton changed and put back in, and early this morning I got so angry that I thought, why did I even get nose surgery? With regret, frustration, and stress building up, I wanted to punch my nose with my fist. It was the first time I’ve ever thought I wanted to hit my own face (though sometimes after surgery when I look in the mirror, I do) Anyway, I really held it in and then exploded into tears, stopped my mom from going to work, went back to the hospital we had gone to yesterday, and asked them to remove the cotton again. They said okay and would take it out, but for the line to come out nicely, it would be better to keep it in until tomorrow. The moment I heard “nicely,” I was sensitive, so I just said, “Unnie, I’ll go home for now^^” and came back home. Ah, I want to die. I seriously hate the cotton ㅡㅡ I want to die because of it. And my nose hurts ㅋㅋㅋ because of the cotton. Cotton -- the problem is just the cotton. Cotton ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ If I can just endure until tomorrow morning, that’s enough, but dawn is the hardest. ..... My mom and dad are sleeping, snoring, and I have to sit there wide awake. What a life, sigh.. Everyone............................. the cotton .. seriously I want to die.........I want to tell you all this. It’s my honest feeling. Since I’m not good at writing, you might not understand well.. but anyway, cotton ..... having it stuffed in my nostrils is just too hard. So hard. And my nose is a lifted nose, I raised the septum and tip by 4.5 mm with Silitex, and it was an open procedure. During the consultation, the doctor said if only the tip followed along, even 6 mm would be possible. I guess my nose had really collapsed inward. Now that I keep looking at this nose, I can’t remember my own nose anymore. Maybe there’s an eraser in my head. Right now all the swelling around my eyes has gone down and gathered in my cheeks, all bunched together. My face is... well... just a zombie. I think I could appear in a movie. I’ll stop writing here. Did I write too long? I really hate the cotton.. I’m going tomorrow and getting it out right away.................................... And please be very careful about nose surgery. If I could turn back time, I wouldn’t have done it. I really hate it (the cotton)
