My bulbous nose wasn’t extremely severe, but from the front it looked spread out and made my nose look a bit low, so I eventually had surgery at a clinic lol Honestly, I did look up various things, but I’m not an expert, so I think you can just take this as an honest review from someone who actually had the surgery haha I covered the photos as much as possible in case someone recognized me, but honestly, if you just look at my changed nose, no one would be able to recognize me lol Flashy or obvious-looking results absolutely don’t suit me, so I was really picky and told them I wanted it to look natural, but not too plain, you know? But the director really understood exactly what I meant and did it just like that lol The silicone wasn’t placed too high, and the nasal tip was made rounded rather than pointy, so the line looks really natural! For the surgery, I had bulbous nose correction using donated costal cartilage, and also had cartilage suturing + foreign material removal + nasolabial angle correction done together. At first I was considering autologous costal cartilage, but I thought it would take some time to recover from the rib area too, so I just went with donated cartilage. Even so, recovery was fast lol The day after surgery was when I was the most swollen, and after the cotton packing and splint were removed, I felt so much more comfortable! I also did cold/warm compresses diligently, but I’m not sure if that really helped lol As time passed, the swelling went down well on its own lol Now the scar is barely noticeable and has faded a lot, and I’m most satisfied that the blunt, bulbous part of my nose was corrected!! Before, only my nose looked chubby, but now that it’s balanced with my face, I think my overall appearance looks much better lol Anyway, I’m really happy with the result now haha
