<Before><After> Everyone I know already knows I had plastic surgery, so I’m just posting with my face shown.. haha Before surgery, people around me often said I looked a bit round-faced and gentle, but personally, I felt more strongly that I just looked “unsophisticated...” These days influencers post so many Reels on Insta, right? Once you watch one, more keep popping up through the algorithm.. Every time I watched those, I strongly thought I wanted to become like that too and wanted to change my eyes and nose, so I started looking into plastic surgery. Even though a lot of people get surgery these days, I still didn’t want to go somewhere that doesn’t take good care of you after surgery and just acts like it’s not their problem, so I put a lot of effort into researching online and visiting clinics in person. When I went for consultations, I told the director that I absolutely wanted to change into a “glamorous, sophisticated image.” I visited 5 places, and I excluded all the places that shaped things more naturally than I had in mind, places where the director’s consultation wasn’t great, and places that didn’t offer any special aftercare..... After looking around like that, I narrowed it down somewhat, and at VN they said directors who specialize in eyes and nose respectively would perform the surgeries, so I felt that if I did them at the same hospital, I wouldn’t have to worry about overall harmony, and that’s why I got it done there. ***I’ll share the eye and nose surgery methods in detail Eyes - natural adhesion, ptosis correction (done non-incision), medial, upper, and lower canthoplasty Nose - bulbous nose correction, short nose correction, silicone, donated costal cartilage, ear cartilage, nostril reduction For the eyes, Director Kim Tae-hoon didn’t recommend going all the way to an outline fold, and said that a semi-outline with canthoplasty would give the glamorous feeling I wanted, so I did that. But I was worried that doing a lot of canthoplasty might look unnatural, and the director said he would open it to an appropriate degree (he actually told me both the double eyelid height and the canthoplasty measurements in mm). For the nose, I liked Director Oh Seung-il’s design so much that I just nodded along to everything he told me to do..... lolol If the bridge were raised too excessively, my glabella would look narrow and it might look a bit like an Avatar, so we didn’t overdo the bridge. Since my nasal tip was on the blunt side, he said we should focus the surgery there, so that’s what we did. I guess wanting a glamorous result doesn’t mean you always have to put in silicone..... I realized surgery that suits my own face is the best. Recovery was totally top-tier, maybe because I found a place that really takes aftercare seriously.. When I went in for progress checks, the director personally checked my condition, and I could also get swelling care. Since I did eyes and nose together, there was noticeable swelling until week 2, but even so, people around me said my recovery was fast for this level..?? Around one month, I could go around without worrying too much, yeah. After the plastic surgery went well, I got more ambitious and dieted a bit too, and honestly these days I’m close to the image I’ve been aiming for, so my appearance-related obsession feels healed.... I didn’t want to spend money and regret it, but this self-paid surgery was such a good deal.. As I wrote, it became really long, but personally I think doing eyes+nose together is a pretty major project(?), lol, so I wrote this hoping everyone would really research carefully before getting surgery.
