A surgery experience story with a (somewhat) realistic description~

I had surgery by incision on January 2........ - I tried to describe it realistically and in detail......;; As expected, maybe because it was a revision surgery, I had zero pre-op nervousness..OTL lol I had just woken up and gone to the hospital. Hmm.. first, they adjust and mark the line with something like a small compass, then draw it first with something like a regular ballpoint pen, and after that, to keep it from being erased by alcohol, they dip another dye (I forgot the name) onto a toothpick and draw it once more, they said. (I was curious while they were drawing my younger sibling's.) I dozed off a little while they were drawing the line....; I sent the younger sibling, who won rock-paper-scissors, into the operating room first, and while receiving encouragement texts from friends, I steeled my resolve for surgery. lol After my sibling came out, I chatted a bit, then went into the operating room. On the operating table they covered me with a blanket, disinfected my face, and did anesthesia, but the anesthesia was........ painful as expected. T.T.... The anesthesia injection woke me up. They pierce with a needle and inject the anesthetic, but it felt like the needle was getting longer and boring into my skin. The biggest hurdle of the surgery. Regret over not having gotten a blood-vessel anesthetic. Sadness. Regret. Damn it. Desperately needed the skill to dig into my palm with my fingernails. Once I was anesthetized, they incised along the line they had drawn and cut away the fat with scissors, and the sound was somehow chilling; the sound effect was like cutting cloth with very sharp scissors, which was the highlight. Maximum tension. I imagined the possibility of opening my eyes. Ugh. Need a distraction skill. but! My concentration shot up. (OTL) The nurse lifted my eyelid for me, and the doctor separated and removed the skin and fat with something that smelled burnt. (Well known as the 'smell of burning squid' on a community) Also, because my fat was distributed so deeply into the dark recesses, they used a machine that gives off a burnt smell, with no anesthesia, to remove it that far in, and I could feel every single nerve cell convulsing and dying off, so I nearly died. It was the moment I really felt how important anesthesia is. Really. (I'm a special(...) case, so those who are having surgery don't worry;;) The doctor said, 'There's still more fat than I expected? There's quite a bit of fat~' so I felt a little embarrassed;; But really, after removing all the fat on one side, I truly felt the difference in light when I closed my eyes. One side felt bright and the other side pitch-black.... Also, I thought I shouldn't open my eyes during surgery, but my eyelid kept trembling and light kept leaking in. I could gradually see the blood on the cotton too (Mom, there's blood......) and the surgery light I always saw in dramas was really so blinding it rivaled sunlight lol Then they sewed my eyes up one stitch at a time with thread. Even the finishing knot~. I wanted to say thank you for their hard work, but I was too out of it to do so. Hmm.... It seems like 92.3% of the surgery was fat removal. That was my biggest complex, lol, so maybe not anymore~ heheㅡ. After the surgery, my sibling and I both did ice packs at the hospital, and after a few hours the nurse came in and said she'd order us dinner so we should eat together before leaving; lol. I said I wanted to rest and go home, but she kept urging me. I came home feeling some kind of customer-delight service, I guess. I was just too tired.... It was free too... tsk. Ah, when I was leaving, they packed up a huge bundle of gauze(;), a few painkillers, an eye mask for ice packs, and a printed sheet with precautions and side effects; lol. They also explained the precautions a lot.. Since that day, every morning I've been going to the hospital like I'm clocking in to work, getting disinfected, applying bruise ointment, applying eye ointment, and leaving my eyes to some mysterious machine that emits blue light. But because I really got proper care, the bruises disappeared completely the next day. I decided to get the stitches removed on Monday. Once the stitches come out, the swelling should go down fast, right? Please..... lol Lastly...... the nurse was extremely kind, and the doctor was a woman too, so somehow I felt even warmer toward her, and her voice was cute too, and she discounted a lot of the surgery fee, so I was moved! My younger sibling's skin is so... bad; they said they'd do a peeling treatment once!! Hahaha! They say if you like freebies you'll go bald......... PS. I tried to describe it realistically, but it may be too long and maybe gross too; the review I wanted before surgery was something really vivid, after all. Anyway, thanks for reading.
