It’s been about 6 to 7 years since I had double eyelid surgery with natural adhesion + ptosis correction + upper canthoplasty, and it’s had more than enough time to settle, but at some point the inner side of one eye started feeling painful... It feels like the inside of my eye, somewhere you’d only see if it were cut open with a scalpel, hurts? Could ptosis correction go wrong or inflammation develop even now, after so much time has passed? I’m getting revision double eyelid surgery soon. Will it be okay?
devian The symptoms are so similar to mine... When I had eye pain because of a delayed immune reaction, I was like that too.. Mine wasn’t double eyelid surgery; when I got under-eye filler, the immune reaction made the eye pain really severe, and seriously, it felt like the inside of my eye hurt

devian [@영먐미] Right, right, even without doing any particular action, the inside of my eye just hurt too In the end, it hurt soooo much that I told the clinic, and they said it would be better to dissolve it, so I dissolved the filler.... After that, the eye pain disappeared... (But instead, my under-eye area became sunken after getting Hyalase) Carefully saying this.. but for you, maybe after the double eyelid surgery, it settled well on the outside, but as the internal tissues healed over a long time, an immune reaction may be coming up? Mine looked totally fine on the outside too, but it only looked that way; in the end, the inner tissue had become tangled... I think it would be good to go to the clinic where you had surgery and see if they can at least prescribe medication.. I thought the severe eye pain was just because I was tired, but then one day my floaters suddenly got really bad too.... Just in case, go to an ophthalmologist and check for eye disease too! You have to protect your vision!!

devian [@영먐미] It did loosen a lot, but even now when I touch it, the area from the under-eye tear trough to the nose still feels kind of firm... Still, for you, it’s not a problem caused by something being injected, so if they release that area during the revision, maybe it’ll get better..! They say immune reactions get worse depending on your body condition or when you’re tired. Sleep well, take your medicine properly, calm it down a bit, and then if you do the revision, you’ll be okay!
ppppooo It’s not like you put in something like silicone the way they do for the nose, and if 6 years have passed, couldn’t it be another reason?
