First of all, there were many postoperative patients and waiting patients in the waiting room, but unlike other hospitals, I liked that the waiting time wasn’t long and didn’t go far past the consultation appointment time. At other places, I think I waited on the sofa for an average of 15-20 minutes each. The hospital where I waited the longest had me waiting over 30 minutes. The consultant in charge seemed similar to those at other hospitals, and the director’s consultation wasn’t very proactive like the reviews said, and he wasn’t very talkative, but he had this weighty aura that seemed to come from experience. When I asked to see before-and-after surgery photos and CT images, he showed them to me and said there would be an improvement before and after. And in the reviews, I sometimes saw people saying they hesitated because the surgery cost was more expensive than other places, so I was worried, but after visiting 2 large hospitals and 3 private clinics, I don’t think it was as expensive as I expected. Compared to large hospitals, the price is a bit higher, and they said it’s a fixed-price system so no discount is available. When doing online research, everyone recommended private clinics more than large hospitals for facial contouring, so I was more than 90% set on wanting to do it at a private clinic. After the consultation, I also booked the surgery date before leaving, and I just hope the surgery goes well. You have to pay a 20,000 won consultation fee in advance for the consultation reservation to be confirmed.
