I had my first rhinoplasty with silicone + autologous costal cartilage (it’s been 3 weeks). I wanted a slim straight-to-slightly-curved line, but only the nasal tip is pointy, so it looks like a Pinocchio nose. From the side, the line is also too round and blunt, and the columella area is extremely hard and looks like it has dropped down. The line looks a bit awkward too My family also asks why the columella area is hanging so low, but the consultant keeps only talking about swelling and says I have to wait 6 months to know. But I feel like even if the swelling goes down, the line won’t change…. If anything, my original nose had a slimmer line… As time passes, if the nasal tip drops more, will the columella drop even further from there..? I feel like I’m going to go crazy Why did they make me a Rudolph nose like this? Do they provide A/S for this kind of issue?
