I usually felt that my cheekbones were prominent and stood out, so before the school break ended, I went and had facial contouring cheekbone reduction surgery..! I’m currently 2 weeks post-op. The hospital where I had surgery was 345 Plastic Surgery, and Dr. Park Jong-rim performed the surgery. The biggest reason I chose 345 was because of Dr. Park Jong-rim’s long experience and expertise in facial contouring surgery! He has specialized in facial contouring surgery for a very long time, and I had also been consistently watching YouTube videos featuring him for a while. He explained questions that people would usually be curious about in an easy and detailed way, so I trusted him. It has only been 2 weeks since I had the surgery, so I’m still recovering, but I can already feel a noticeable change. What stands out the most is my eyes and nose. I didn’t notice it when my cheekbones were prominent, but after surgery, my eyes look bigger and my nose also seems to look higher. People around me have actually told me quite often that my eyes look bigger. As the overall contour of my face changed, I think my impression has become much softer and more defined. The swelling hasn’t completely gone down yet, but for now, I’m satisfied with the result. I expect it will get much better as time passes...! Oh, for reference, I also paid a lot of attention to swelling management. For 2 weeks after surgery, I think I walked at least 5,000 steps a day, at minimum. I think walking a lot helped the swelling recover faster. I hope this helps those who are considering surgery too..!
