First of all, I live outside Seoul, and since I had surgery in Seoul, I was in a situation where I couldn’t easily go in for visits Around the 2-week mark, I slowly started feeling like my nose was crooked to one side, and after watching it for a bit, I contacted them at week 3. They said they would look at it in detail the following week at my 1-month follow-up, so I said okay. I visited today, and without needing to talk for long, they just admitted it right away and said they would operate again.. I had used donated costal cartilage, and they said it was true that the costal cartilage had warped. They said it’s not something like an early correction, but that they would need to completely reopen it and operate again with new material, and that we should discuss the schedule.. Usually, revision surgery is recommended after at least 6 months, but they said if the crookedness is too stressful, as long as it’s not too close in timing, they’ll try to accommodate the schedule I want as much as possible.. For now, I’m a working person, so even taking another whole week off is stressful, and thinking about going back and forth to Seoul again is the biggest headache... Right now I’m not even having any deep thoughts, and the conversation didn’t even take 20 minutes. We just decided on revision surgery and it ended... I don’t know if there was anything else I should have checked, or if I just came out like an idiot.. Of course, the revision surgery cost is free, but is there anything more I can ask for, or anything I absolutely should talk about? Why did this have to happen to me I’m seriously so annoyed
What material are they going to use again? That’s so upsetting
I think they’ll use donated costal cartilage again... I’m also really torn about what to do
Still, they admitted it right away and said they’d do the revision surgery I heard there are lots of places that insist otherwise
Should I think of that as a relief? Ha, I’ve gotten needlessly sensitive, so all kinds of thoughts are coming up
Wow, that must be seriously stressful I’m almost at week 2 too, and now I’m so damn worried ㄷㄷ
Seriously.. it made me think that even if I’m as careful as I can be, some things just can’t be helped

Ah, I’m someone whose laziness level is maxed out, you know? It’s been 2 years since my nose surgery now, and when it hadn’t even been a month at first, I could see that it was crooked when I took pictures of my nose with the camera, so I asked the clinic. They told me to wait because of swelling. I waited, then got lazy and just lived like that for two years, but when I looked with the rear camera, it was insanely crooked. I regret it so much I should’ve gotten aftercare too, sob sob.. It’ll be annoying, but make sure you get it done properly..
Right Since they said they’ll do it, even if it’s annoying, I should coordinate the schedule and get it done....

If it were me, regardless of the money, I think I’d go to another clinic
You mean since they failed once, I should go to another clinic, right?
Right
Should I also try discussing it in terms of getting a refund, aside from receiving free aftercare/revision?

That would be better. Getting a refund won’t be easy, but you absolutely need to go to a different hospital

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoSep 13 A single-doctor clinic that’s good at revision surgery!
I’ve been to consultations at three large clinics, but I’m still not sure, so I’ve been looking through posts here and there. I was recommended to also visit places run by a single doctor that specialize in nose surgery, so I’m curious…
