<Before surgery, expressionless><After surgery, expressionless><Before surgery, smiling><After surgery, smiling>Except for my nose, my face was generally decent overall, including my forehead, eyes, and face shape. However, my nose had a lot of combined issues. My nostrils were wide, my columella protruded, so when I smiled it made my face look more masculine, and I even had a hump and asymmetry. Still, because I was scared of surgery, I had never even considered it until now, but as I got older, I felt like my nose was spreading wider and getting longer. Then, coincidentally, one of my family members had an alar reduction done at this clinic, and it turned out so natural and suited their face so well that I was really tempted. So I just went to Seoul recklessly, without fear or any prior research, and ended up having surgery right after my same-day consultation. I really knew nothing about the surgery, so after the surgery was over, I saw the shape of my nose and felt absolutely devastated. I did not even think that it was swelling. When I looked at other people’s photos, it seemed like there was no big difference between right after surgery and one month later. (I did not know that it only looked like there was no difference in photos, and that in reality the difference caused by swelling is enormous.) I thought there would not be much change from how my nose looked immediately after surgery or about a week later, so I was truly devastated. I guess that was the obsessive-anxiety period. So during that time, I did a lot of things you are not supposed to do From the first day after surgery, I deliberately smiled because I wanted to see how I looked when smiling, or lifted up the columella that I did not like because it looked swollen... I even ate a hamburger from the first day after surgery because I was hungry... Then at that time, I felt a stitch snap and had the sensation of air whooshing through.. I do think that if I had not done that, the asymmetry would have improved more. I really knew far too little about plastic surgery; Around the time my mental state was slightly shaken by the odd nose shape caused by swelling, I went to get my stitches removed. But really, just as the consultant said, she was right that it would become natural, and that once the swelling went down, the feeling that the nose looked upturned or artificial would disappear. It has been a little over a month now, and it is really naturally pretty. I had thought that if only my nose changed, my face would look really good. And they kept the proportions that I had originally considered the good points of my nose, while precisely identifying and changing only the parts I had thought were flaws. I was completely unfamiliar with plastic surgery and noses, so I did not even really know where the columella or alar area was, and even I could not accurately identify which parts of my nose needed correction. But from the consultant to the director, they understood it at a glance. The only thing I regret is that my nose had many issues, so there were actually quite a few parts that needed correction. From priority 1 to priority 6 (3D alar reduction, columellar graft, hump refinement, nasal tip surgery, etc.) But honestly, the cost was a burden, and since it was my first surgery, I was scared of taking cartilage from my ear and placing it on the nasal tip or shaving bone, so I only had the 3D alar reduction and columellar graft. Now that much of the swelling has gone down, I keep thinking it would have been better if I had done everything up to the 6th priority that the consultant and director recommended... haha I do not think I will do anything additional because I am scared to touch my nose again.. But for those who are going to do it anyway, if your budget allows or you are okay with it, I think you may get a better result if you do everything as recommended. And what is good about this clinic is that with alar reduction alone, you can get the feeling that your nose has become higher and improve your complex. Also, I like that they can preserve the version of myself that I usually liked while only correcting the flaws. And I also like that there is less worry about side effects that could come to the nose. Everyone has a heart that loves themselves, and after touching my nose for the first time, seeing how different I looked because of the swelling made me understand what it feels like to think you might develop a mental illness. So if my nose had been made too different from my usual image, I think I would have felt somewhat confused. While my swelling was going down, obsessive anxiety came late, and I read posts saying that for nose surgery, you need to find a director whose aesthetic sense matches yours. But even when I kept looking at this clinic’s review photos and videos, I did not feel that the director pursued one specific or consistent aesthetic. But after the swelling went down, I came to think that the director was not someone who wants one fixed nose shape, but rather creates results suited to each person’s nose and face, which is why all the photos felt different. The director is not the particularly warm and friendly type, so as someone having surgery for the first time, I felt very scared and anxious. So actually, even though I had traveled from far away for surgery and consultation, I almost did not go through with it. But the consultant really understood the feelings of someone having surgery for the first time, and she was kind during the consultation, helped me feel close to her in a short time, and reassured me, which was a great help. And I am saying this in case there are people who feel like filtering out this clinic because there are so many reviews and they all only say good things.. Honestly, even if there was a review event, if people were not satisfied with the results, they would not all have written only good things. I also would have honestly written that I did not like certain parts. I think the reviews were like that because the result feels like it naturally preserves the version of yourself that you liked, while just slightly touching up the parts that were lacking.
