<Day 1 after cheekbone surgery…>A surgery I had been thinking about for years I had it done at a well-known hospital in Sinsa. It went well, right? The swelling right now is beyond what I imagined… I feel like no one swells this much. They gave me a compression band and ice packs, so I’ve been using them diligently, but when I look in the mirror it’s so horrifying… Both eyes look like they’re about to burst, and the area under my eyes is purple. Under my right eye is red, and it feels like it might burst if I touch it. It’s getting harder and harder to open my eyes, and on the right side even my nose and mouth are all swollen and stretched open, and my nostrils are lifted too.
