7/22 Under-Eye Fat Repositioning 6-Week Review I had under-eye fat repositioning done by Dr. Lee Ho-jun at Thank You Plastic Surgery. I am in my early 30s, and I had under-eye fat repositioning to improve under-eye hollowness rather than under-eye puffiness. I wondered if I would need fat grafting as well, but the director said that if I was not satisfied after the repositioning, we could do grafting later. There was no overtreatment, and he was kind. Until one month after surgery, I had a lot of swelling. What worried me more than the swelling was the change to a fox-like eye shape and the small lump under my eye that felt hard to the touch. Also, as that lump protruded slightly, it looked even more uneven, and I was distressed because I thought it looked worse than before surgery. But just as the consultant and the director said, the swelling really did go down gradually, and all the areas I had been worried about improved little by little. Now, about 6 weeks later, I am very satisfied. The dark color still remains, but as the hollowness improved, I think my eyes are less drawn to it than before. Unlike other reviews, my recovery was not fast, and every day was difficult and full of regret, but now I am very satisfied. If you are trembling with worry like I was because of swelling, lumps, changes in eye shape, and so on, I would first like to tell you to trust the passage of time day by day.
