I had my eighth revision rhinoplasty with autologous costal cartilage by Director Kim Hyun-joo, and as time passes, the minor swelling seems to be gradually improving. It still feels firm when I touch it, but I was told it will gradually get better. Before the revision surgery, my nostrils were visible, and when seen from below, the pointed nostrils looked artificial, which I disliked, but now those things have changed naturally. However, maybe because I’ve had many revision rhinoplasties already, some of the previous scar tissue is a little visible, so after it settles more, I decided to have laser treatment on the scar tissue area.. I was satisfied with the rhinoplasty itself, but they also explained post-op care carefully, including ointment, bandages, swelling injections and laser treatment, as well as additional follow-up care afterward. Especially regarding aftercare for scars, the fact that I can receive it at the plastic surgery clinic where I had surgery until I’m satisfied seems especially satisfying to me.
