<Close-up scar shot after 2 months> I had surgery in early June, and this is now my 3-month review My eyes were not originally on the small side, so it was not an area I was extremely concerned about, but whenever I looked in the mirror, I always felt that the outer part of my eyes, based on the pupils, looked narrower than the inner part, and when taking photos, I did think my eyes looked a bit closed-in. Then I saw the surgery videos and before-and-after photos from the clinic on Instagram, and thought, if my eyes could be widened like that too, my impression would look much softer and my eye proportions would be much more balanced! So I booked a consultation right away. Since 3-way canthoplasty is done with an incisional method, it has the advantage of a definite effect, but I was worried about whether scars would remain. During the first month to month and a half, redness and scar marks were visible, but from about 2 and a half months to now, at 3 months, the scars are almost not visible! They are barely visible even with a bare face, but when I wear makeup, there is so little scarring that you really would not think I had lateral canthoplasty, so I am very, very satisfied haha Comparing the before-and-after photos, my eyes became longer horizontally, my sharp-looking impression disappeared, and the outer corners that used to look closed-in now definitely look more open. I no longer think, “It wasn’t really an area I worried about much before,” and instead I really think, “I’m so glad I did it. Why didn’t I do it sooner!!” For those considering lateral canthoplasty, I hope you will consider this plastic surgery clinic too! +) The 3-month photos are bare-faced, without base makeup! For scar care, even when my eyes were itchy, I did not scratch them or do anything that could make the incision area open up, and even when I went out briefly, I always applied sunscreen.
