As I got older and the skin started to sag, one eye developed a double eyelid, and then multiple creases formed too. Seeing it gradually become two and three layers, I thought I should correct it quickly, so I had consultations at plastic surgery clinics. For 3 months, I went to more than 10 famous plastic surgery clinics, and most of them said that correcting multiple eyelid creases has to be done while creating double eyelids, and that a monolid is not possible. Among them, two places said they would do it in the direction I wanted, and in the end, there was a director who marked the exact line I was pursuing, so I did it with that person. It was revision double-eyelid surgery, and because there was still a previous partial incision remaining, they said it would be corrected only if they made a thin incision as an inner double eyelid and tied it, so I decided to do that. The result is extremely satisfying. First, when my eyes are open, you can’t tell I have double eyelids. They’re only visible when I close my eyes slightly, and that doesn’t feel burdensome. Every friend who sees me says my eyes turned out well. Eye plastic surgery may be a light surgery, but anyway, it still involves using a scalpel, so I really recommend going to many consultations. Just because a place is famous doesn’t mean it’s automatically good. As you go around, there will be a clinic that matches your own aesthetic standards.
