I had surgery on August 6, so I’m at one month now. Silicone for the nasal bridge, donated costal cartilage, and ear cartilage were used!! Before surgery, my nasal bridge was generally low, and I had a bulbous nose with wide-looking alae, so it didn’t match the sharp image I wanted. I was concerned about that and decided to have surgery. It was my first surgery, and I basically didn’t know much, but the consultant explained in detail what materials would be used, in what way, how they would be used, and what kind of result could come out. It wasn’t vague; she pointed things out based on the CT images as she explained, so with my trust already up by 50%, I went into the consultation with Director Kim Jae-yoon at the plastic surgery clinic. The director also didn’t pressure me. He diagnosed me while going through, one by one, which cartilage and materials structurally fit my nasal line and which materials would look the most harmonious if used. During those few minutes of consultation, my trust went up to 100%, so right after the next consultation I proceeded with booking the surgery. Seeing that they tried to preserve the patient’s needs as much as possible rather than doing excessive cosmetic correction, I thought there’s a reason famous places are famous. Maybe because it’s a one-doctor clinic, it felt like they focused more on each patient. On top of that, I came after seeing the event price, and at other clinics extra fees get added to the event price so it becomes expensive, but here it was exactly the event price as advertised. Now at one month, even in week 1 when I couldn’t see the line because of the splint, I was very satisfied seeing my nose had become higher overall. In weeks 2 and 3, the swelling kept going down, and my image became sharper with the sleek, refined nose I wanted. The swelling is continuing to go down smoothly, and people around me don’t know I had surgery. I plan to spend each day looking forward to the swelling going down even more!! And because it was fixed in four layers, I don’t have to worry about revision surgery, and the aftercare is good, so I’m not worried about scars. Director Kim Jae-yoon is the best!!
