I had one-type facial contouring at Dalbi Even though it was just one type, it’s a procedure with a certain level of difficulty, so I had consultations at many places and thought about it for a long time. But I don’t think anywhere listened to my concerns and recommended things as well as this place did. For example, they recommended posterior-most cheekbone reduction, and since it was a term I was hearing for the first time, I was taken aback, you know? But the director explained that, just as the name suggests, it’s a method of cutting the bone all the way to the back of the cheekbone arch and fixing it inward, so you can see a dramatic effect not only from the side but also from the front. I felt like that was exactly the part I needed, so I decided to have the surgery. From the day of surgery to one week after, they say it’s a mentally difficult period, and that was exactly how it was for me. As the swelling gradually went down, it was kind of hard to look at my face in the mirror... Still, maybe because I had it done through a partial incision, I felt like I was recovering faster than expected. I kept up with my follow-up visits without letting my guard down until the very end, and managed it diligently within what I could do. Thankfully, Director Byun also took responsible care of me without any change in attitude before and after the surgery, so I think that helped me a lot mentally too. From the second week, the bruising and swelling had gone down to some extent, so my facial contour line started to show. Now I’ve recovered a lot, to the point where I can go about daily life, and I’m satisfied because I think my cheekbones were corrected naturally, just as I wanted.
