<Before surgery><After surgery>When I decided to get rhinoplasty, the thing I considered most important was ★★the director’s aesthetic sense★★. Of course, surgical skill is important, and aftercare is all important too, but with the nose, I really thought it could fail if the aesthetic sense didn’t match mine, so I searched through every community where plastic surgery reviews were posted and looked for reviews. For the nasal tip shape, columella shape, and so on... if anything was even slightly not to my taste, I boldly ruled it out while going around for consultations. Maybe because of that, I only ended up going to 3 consultations, but I thought quality mattered more than quantity, so I felt that was enough, and after the consultations, I ended up having surgery at the clinic where I liked the materials and nose design the most. The material used was autologous costal cartilage, and I told the head director that I wanted a straight line that was not too feminine, but more of an androgynous image. Since my nasal bridge was low and looked pressed down, he said it was important to create a good line from the nasal bridge to the nasal tip. And since my original nasal tip was not that low, he said that because the nasal bridge would be raised, the tip would also need to be lifted, so autologous costal cartilage was the right choice. The consultation was also the most detailed among the places I visited, and I think it was a big advantage that the director personally checks the progress after surgery. On the day of surgery, I was so nervous that I was out of it, but the hospital took care of everything and explained well what I needed to do, so I think I got through it without any major issues. After surgery, I took a taxi home by myself. I was okay if I stayed still, but I felt a slight throbbing when I moved, so I lived very carefully for a few days. When I went to the hospital for progress checks, they gave me swelling injections and laser treatment, and every time I went to remove the splint or stitches, they provided this kind of care, so even after surgery, I felt like they kept looking after me. And actually, after getting scar injections and laser treatment, it felt like recovery was faster too. I think the major swelling went down in less than 3 weeks, and friends who had seen my nose were really amazed, saying the swelling went down so quickly. And they said it was so fascinating that the nose I always edited in Photoshop had actually become my real nose now.. haha Everyone said the nose shape suited me well, so I only thought that I was glad I carefully researched it and got the surgery. The area where the autologous costal cartilage was harvested was not as large as I expected, so I think once a little more time passes, it won’t be very noticeable. By day 3 to 4, you can really do everything in daily life without any problem, and I also went to work right after removing the splint, and it was honestly much better than I expected. Except for being worried someone might hit my nose? lol I feel really proud because I think my rhinoplasty turned out successfully, and if I were to share even a small tip, everyone should prioritize the aesthetic sense of the design when looking into hospitals and directors, and find a place that can create the shape you want before getting surgery. I think that’s how satisfaction with your nose becomes much higher! haha Like 1 Sympathy emoticon Translating Would you like to save this review? +1 This is a surgical review pursuing a natural-but-defined look.
