I had surgery today

My surgery date was set about 2 weeks ago, and today I finally had the operation. I had an incision and epicanthoplasty, and it took about 2 hours.. The anesthetic injections were really painful ㅡㅡ;; I didn’t have anyone to go with me, so I bravely went by myself, got up on the operating table, and after it was over I went alone to the administrative desk, then to get the injections, then to the pharmacy for my medicine.. I really went all over the hospital. (I had it at a general hospital, so there were a lot of people and everyone was staring.) My dad came to pick me up.. I ate, took my medicine, did some cold compresses, then remembered this community, signed up, and thought I’d write a post.. I honestly can’t even look in the mirror ㅡㅡ;; My younger sibling saw my face and ran to my mom, saying they couldn’t sleep with me tonight, then ran away.. What was hardest of all was having to lie on the operating table for 2 hours; it felt stuffy and hard.. It’s tough having to endure the pain just to create something that wasn’t thereㅠㅠ Besides cold compresses, if anyone knows ways to reduce swelling faster, please recommend them!
