I had rhinoplasty today at ㅂㅍㅇㅍ I’m writing the whole story of how I chose my rhinoplasty clinic in case it helps anyone. (There were so few reviews from people trying to come from Cheongju to Daejeon for plastic surgery that it was frustrating. Ugh.) First of all, I absolutely wanted implant-free surgery. The internet is full of ads, and I wanted to get consultations in person and choose somewhere that felt right. I live in Cheongju, and rather than doing it in Seoul, I wanted somewhere I could get to quickly for treatment and feel at ease, so I went around Cheongju for consultations. I couldn’t find anywhere I really liked, so I looked into hospitals in Daejeon, narrowed it down to 3 places that appealed to me, and went for consultations. But in the end, I decided on the place where the doctor clearly examined me the most thoroughly and explained the plastic surgery details carefully and properly. I just had that feeling: I should entrust my nose here. I decided right away, and coordinated with the consultant to book the surgery date. I wanted implant-free surgery, and I wasn’t looking for a huge change. I had a slight hump and my nasal tip was on the droopy side, so we decided to proceed with the nasal tip using septal cartilage and ear cartilage, and the doctor said he would use cartilage for what was lacking in the nasal bridge, but honestly I was so nervous that it didn’t really go in one ear properly lol I made up my mind to leave it to them naturally, and during the design consultation I showed them a photo of Nam Joo-hyuk’s nose, but I guess I’m a bit shameless lol haha Since it was my first surgery, I was really nervous, but the surgery ended well. Right now, of course, there is some swelling and it feels awkward, but I’m really looking forward to how it progresses. As I recover and changes happen, I’ll leave a review.
