Scalp-incision cheekbone reduction and square jaw surgery, day 200~~

Hello~~ I think it’s been more than two months since I posted a review around the 4-month mark,, Some people still haven’t forgotten me and have been sending me messages, asking how my recovery is going these days, so I’m posting this~~ At the end of July last year, I had cheekbone reduction through a scalp incision,, and square jaw surgery through an intraoral incision,,,,,,,, I first got all the information about the surgery from this community, and even these days, I feel like replying to messages is something I should do as someone who had surgery earlier, so even though it can be a little bothersome sometimes, I stop by here often and try to be of at least a little help~~ Honestly, from the time my bandage was removed one week after surgery, I was really excited about my changed face~~ My face had no flesh and was bumpy and protruding, you see. Other people get impatient because their swelling doesn’t go down after surgery, but for me, since I still had swelling, my face looked plumper, and I looked younger too, so I liked it,,, to the point that I was sad when the residual swelling went down,,,,,,, After three or four months had passed since surgery, even the remaining minor swelling had mostly gone down, so there were days when I felt disappointed looking in the mirror because my face looked thin again like before and it seemed like I still had a little cheekbone prominence. Just like the doctor said, that it would change again at 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year, recently the muscles that had tightened have also loosened, and I can feel my face changing again,,,,,,,, I’m a bit tall, my head is big, and that’s the kind of look I have, but do you know what I hear often from people around me these days? “Cute.” Hehehehe~~~ Even people meeting me for the first time often say I’m pretty and cute. My face is absolutely not the cute type at all, and I’m a woman in my mid-30s,,,,, To think I’d hear things like this.... It makes me smile without even realizing it. My older sister said that after the surgery my face looks smaller and younger, so any hairstyle or clothes suit me well, and that money really is nice, and wondered whether she would look better too if she spent money on it. My eldest sister, who had surgery about a month after me, is also recovering well,,, sometimes when I see the photos she sends on her phone, I really think she looks like a different person,,, younger and softer-looking,,,,,,,,, I think the hair loss has recovered about 90%,, As for the scalp scar, I asked my husband to look for it, and he said even after searching thoroughly, he couldn’t really find it,, saying he was amazed that even though I had surgery, it could leave so little trace,,,,, For a while after surgery, I lived while firmly keeping the slicked-back hairstyle I had long wished for... but that got a little boring, and as the hairs that had fallen out around the crown started growing back,,, it looked messy, so recently I got bangs,,, and that suited me well too. These days I can eat just about anything, though I still haven’t tried dried squid,,,, My mouth doesn’t open like it did before surgery, and for now I can fit about two or three fingers in,,,,,,,, When I see people preparing for surgery again, it feels like something from a very long time ago,,,,, Of course, I think surgery also requires some luck. The most important thing is that an excellent doctor performs the surgery very well, but after that, there are also many things you have to manage yourself during the long recovery period, so facial contouring surgery really seems far from easy. For those who are about to have surgery,,,,, before deciding on surgery, first of all, I want to tell you to think very carefully about whether that surgery is truly necessary for you,,,, Surgery is not always the best choice. The face your parents gave you is the best,,, and loving yourself is important.......... But if you feel deeply discouraged every time you look in the mirror, then my thought is that you can bravely take the step, since life comes only once, and dream of a changed life,,,,,, When my sister, who is approaching her 50s, lay on the operating table and said she didn’t want to die with cheekbones, it was funny.... but only people who find courage can gain another kind of joy too,,,,,,,,, Still, it is definitely major surgery, and the long recovery period is not easy either, so if someone who is already pretty is considering surgery wondering whether they will become even more perfectly pretty, I would want to stop them~~ There is no such thing as 100% satisfaction,,,,,,, For those in recovery, I wish you a speedy recovery,,, and for those planning surgery, I hope you work hard to find what suits you and get good results,,,,,,,, The holiday is coming up, so I hope everyone travels home peacefully and has a healthy year^^*
