I went to the ER to get the injection prescribed by the hospital, told them what was going on, got the shot, and came back, but there’s no sign of improvement..
The doctor said yesterday to watch it until Monday because it looks like fluid has collected, and if so, they’d put me under general anesthesia and drain it.. But if that happens, they said it keeps filling with fluid and in the end they have to remove the implant too... But why does this hospital use such vague wording like “it seems like inflammation” or “it seems like fluid has collected,” without even doing an ultrasound or an X-ray? If they say it’s fluid, remove it, but if it turns out it was just swelling, then I’d be going through all that for nothing. And if it’s actually blood that’s pooled, they keep postponing and saying let’s just watch the progress day by day while only giving antibiotics, but if inflammation develops because of the pooled blood, they’d have to remove the implant. Why aren’t they testing it.. Is it because they don’t have the equipment... If I go to another hospital and explain everything, would they be able to check it? Can ultrasound or X-ray tell whether it’s fluid, blood, or inflammation... Would I need to go to a hospital that does breast exams to find out? 1. If I want these tests, can I just go to any hospital that does breast ultrasound? 2. After surgery, did you go to the hospital every day? Even paying 20,000 won a day for treatment? I’ve been going every day since the 2nd, except Sundays.. For other injections, I paid extra too... 3. For massages, do you pay the full amount with no first-session service? They said that’s how it is here... 4. Is there anyone who suddenly got swollen like me one week after surgery.. That’s all my questions.. It’s a long post, but thank you for reading..
