!This is a rambling review I was only thinking about square jaw Botox, so I just did some online searching for a few nearby dermatology clinics and went to one of them. I was planning to just get it done unless the consultation seemed strange... And I really did just get it done. They said my salivary glands were large too, so I just got them as a set. 165,000 won including VAT. During the consultation, they said both my square jaw muscles and salivary glands were large, but when the procedure was being done, I heard that my square jaw muscles were average and my salivary glands were large. The set was square jaw + salivary glands + V-line, and they said the V-line was basically like a service add-on. For the square jaw and salivary glands, it was one shot? three shots? something like that, so it only stung a little and felt sore briefly when I got them, so it was okay. But the V-line involved lots of small injections, so it gradually started hurting I’m usually good at tolerating pain, but it was literally an injection needle... getting pricked over and over with a needle, so I just wanted it to end quickly. I also had a bit of a reality check, like what am I doing after paying 165,000 won... I think I’ve started feeling the effects a little since around yesterday. I can feel that I’m gradually not able to put as much strength into chewing as before. It feels sore. I’m happy because my jawline is definitely becoming more defined. I really hope it keeps getting more defined like this and that my square jaw gets smaller... My cheek area also seems to have slimmed a little I know the masseter muscle extends up to this area, and that’s why I got it done... Since the lower part is also shrinking together, I don’t really have much stress yet about my cheekbones looking more prominent, which I had been worried about. They said I should be careful about chewing tough foods for 1 week? a month? anyway, for some period of time, but then after that, can I just eat normally... I’m worried that the effect might wear off quickly then... I’m also worried about sticky snacks like Mychew, so I haven’t been able to eat the ones I bought... I want to eat gopchang soon too.
