I only had incisional double-eyelid surgery. My eyes were really, really small, so for about 2 years I lived with double-eyelid tape and double-eyelid glue. My mom said someone she knew had gone to a place and that it was good, so I followed her to the clinic!! It was my first surgery, and I didn’t even know which clinic I should go to, so I had surgery at the clinic my mom chose. (Now I regret it so much.. If I had looked around a lot and gone to a good clinic, even if I had paid a bit more, I could have made pretty, bigger eyes..) Since I came through someone they knew, they did give me a lower price!! It was my first double-eyelid cosmetic surgery, and I didn’t know much, and compared with when I used double-eyelid tape, my eyes became a little.. bigger and looked natural, so I liked it,, Was it about four months ago? From the double-eyelid line on my left eye, a very scratchy bit of suture was sticking out. I tried to pull it out myself, and even though my eye swelled up red from the tweezers, that suture kept bothering me, so I forced myself to try to pull it out for about an hour with tweezers. Tears were streaming from my eye, and I kept trying to pull it out alone, but the tiny suture in that line would not come out. Why did I do that.. I should have gone to the clinic ㅠㅠ So my eye became too red and swollen, and I asked my dad to drive me to the clinic where I had surgery. My dad asked why I would go so far.. and told me to go to a nearby ophthalmology clinic for treatment .... ㅜㅜ So I went to an ophthalmology clinic, paid about 10,000 won ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ and had it removed lightly. The doctor removed it cleanly in one go!! I regret it so much now. I should have just left it and gone to the place where I had surgery to complain.. This had happened quite a while before too, when something like a suture slipped out from my eye. In short! A tiny suture came out of the double-eyelid line on my left eye!! The second time, it was a slightly long suture! When they removed my stitches at the clinic, the nurse removed them in a huge rush. Was what came out later something they had not fully removed from my eye back then??ㅠㅠ When it was sticking out a bit back then, I should have gone to the clinic and complained ㅠㅠ And the doctor said everyone’s eyes are slightly uneven. He said mine were uneven too.. But the double-eyelid lines are also uneven ㅡㅡ My left eye is a bit bigger and my right is a bit smaller, so on my right eye, when I open it wide, the line doesn’t show and it has become a hidden double eyelid. Seriously.. I think it may have been a little over a year.. I want revision surgery, but.. getting revision surgery at that clinic would obviously be the same thing ㅠㅠ Or since it was incisional, I heard revision is expensive because they have to undo this eye again, and another incision too!! Should I find another good place and do it again? ㅠㅠ My eyes only got a double-eyelid line and became a little bigger, but they’re still small ㅜㅜ When I see friends whose eyes got bigger after surgery, I really just sigh ㅠㅠ
