From the first consultation, the atmosphere wasn’t stiff and they treated me warmly, so I relaxed a lot. I said I wanted alar reduction too because of my bulbous nose, but the consultant firmly talked me out of it, saying there was no need to do it. They honestly told me what was possible and impossible for the shape I wanted, so I trusted them, and the director also explained things in detail, so I could feel his pride based on his experience and solid research, which made me trust him!!! Even after the consultation, whenever I asked questions often through chat, they answered sincerely, so I felt the communication was good! On the day of surgery, the manager? first treated me in a friendly way, so rather than feeling nervous, I was able to walk lightly into the operating room. I trusted the director, and especially because I had seen many reviews saying he is good at shaping the columella and nasolabial angle, I felt more excited than nervous! The only things I remember about the operating room are that it was a little cold and I was thirsty, and as soon as I heard, “We’re starting anesthesia,” my memory cut off right away. lolololol When I woke up, I embarrassingly said a lot of nonsense, but they accepted it all, so I was grateful and also embarrassed. I went alone, but they let me recover on a warm bed until the anesthesia had worn off enough, so I got home safely! The swelling was less than I expected, so as soon as the splint was removed and I saw my side profile, I was satisfied!! When I was looking into plastic surgery, I worried a lot, but it turned out well with the natural-yet-defined feel I had requested, so I was really happy. As people commonly say, the pain being “the autologous costal cartilage area hurts more than the nose” was true. It was sore and uncomfortable every time I moved, but after more than 2 weeks, it got okay enough that it didn’t interfere with daily life. They say that with autologous costal cartilage, the faster it is harvested, the less painful it is, and when I purchased and viewed the CCTV footage, I was surprised because the director really proceeded quickly. I think that part made recovery much easier. Also, after surgery, the director personally checked the dressing thoroughly, so I felt reassured, and there was none of the scarring people commonly worry about.
