I’ve had lagophthalmos due to insufficient skin for 10 years now I had a tear volume test, and they said around 10 is normal, but mine were about 2 and 5 respectively, so my eyes are extremely dry.. I feel like my eyes are getting damaged, so I’m thinking of revision surgery.. Places I’ve consulted so far 1. ㅊㅈㅅㅁ - If I give up on the cosmetic aspect, functional surgery may provide partial improvement 2. ㅇㅇㅇ(ㅏㅣㅝㄴ) - It gets worse the more surgery you do; I was turned away Consultations scheduled 1. ㄱㄴㅅㅇ 2. ㅊㅈㅎ(Suwon) Is ㅊㅈㅅㅁ originally the kind of place that undoes things like the line completely and operates only functionally? After being rejected at two places, I keep worrying whether consultations at other hospitals would even be meaningful.. I heard ㄱㄴㅅㅇ and ㅊㅈㅎ are well known for surgeries caused by ptosis correction, but do they also do surgery for insufficient skin? If you know any hospitals that are good at functional surgery, please recommend them
