This is my review after having surgery in early August with Director Cho Hye-in at a plastic surgery clinic. Finally, the bruising has faded enough that I won’t get reported for posting a graphic photo, so I’m confidently uploading my eye photos.. That’s what I’m saying, but the bruising actually wasn’t that severe, and maybe because I’m the type who doesn’t swell much no matter what I do, the swelling wasn’t that bad either, so I had almost no difficulty with daily life. Since there wasn’t much difference otherwise, I keep forgetting that I had surgery, which I guess is the downside.. Anyway, the only goal was improvement of dark circles, and I’m feeling a huge effect in that area, so in conclusion I’m super, super, super satisfied with the surgery! Actually, the fat itself was clearly visible when I smiled, and when I didn’t smile it wasn’t visible (or so I thought), but the contour irregularity I hadn’t really noticed definitely improved too, and that greatly improved my dark circles as well. There were people who said it wasn’t good because the wrinkles under the eyes became more noticeable, and others who said it wasn’t good because once the hollowing disappeared, it looked too flat... Well, for me, the under-eye wrinkles were already there anyway, so it would be stranger if those disappeared.... And as for looking too flat... my eyes are on the larger side, so it doesn’t look empty. Oh, and I have a bit of aegyo-sal under my eyes, so I wondered if it might lessen a bit because of the surgery, but it is still very much there and is still keeping the same cute impression. I think quite a few people said their outer eye corners temporarily lifted a little and gave them a sharp, coy impression, but for me, well.. that didn’t happen either.. Really.. I became a sly one(?) who dodged all the side effects I was worried about and only got the benefits I wanted...?... That’s how it is. What’s kind of funny is the reaction from people around me, People who don’t have under-eye fat themselves say they don’t know what’s different.. but somehow my impression looks brighter. People who do have under-eye fat themselves notice it instantly!!!! lololololololol Everyone only sees the parts they’re self-conscious about lololololol Anyway, other people’s reactions don’t matter much.. The best part for me is that now I can just go anywhere bare-faced. I did go out bare-faced before too, but I was still conscious of it, and now I just don’t even care anymore? There are still some bruises that haven’t faded yet, and they say it takes about one to two months for the repositioned fat to fully settle and for the muscles to adapt, so I’ll come back again after some time with my very, very final review. Hooray, hooray~
