Is it true that if you get silicone inserted, you absolutely have to keep having revision surgeries..? I’ve seen quite a lot of people saying that whether it’s once every 10 years or once every few years, you have to keep getting revision surgery.. This is my first revision surgery, and I really don’t want to end up on the operating table for my nose again in the future, so I’m looking into it thinking this will be the last time. But I’m really torn about what material to put in the nasal bridge. Silicone scares me because of things like what I mentioned above, and they say that if dermis or costal cartilage is used for the nasal bridge, it could become bumpy because of absorption, so I really think rhinoplasty is difficult If I use costal cartilage for the nasal bridge too, the cost is honestly unbelievably expensive, so I’m worried that if I pay this much and it doesn’t turn out well, I’ll really be mentally devastated..
ㄴㅇㅇ111 Before surgery, I was also really worried because of silicone side effects, but using ground costal cartilage for the nasal bridge is honestly really expensive.. The clinic where I had my primary surgery was a place that could also do the nasal bridge with autologous costal cartilage, so while I was getting a consultation, I asked about various things, and they said there was almost no absorption and no warping. But it was too expensive, so I went with silicone.. Still, I had surgery last year and don’t have any side effects yet
BeTt [@ㄴㅇㅇ111] I also went for a consultation at the clinic you mentioned. Did you get surgery there with silicone??

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoSep 3 I regret making it look so dramatic
It’s been about 7 years. Even the director tried to talk me out of it, but I insisted, so I raised it a bit too much. Since I was spending money anyway, I really wanted people to notice, so I made it look obvious that I’d had nose surgery…
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoSep 3 I wrote a post yesterday on day 36 after removal, but I couldn't hold back and came back with a day 37 story
All day long, I went into this community a million times and couldn’t get out of the nose removal forum. Since the surgery, I haven’t been watching Instagram or YouTube, and I’ve only been reading nose-related posts in this community. I’ve
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoSep 3 Question about complete nose implant removal
I’ve been going to consultations lately for complete nose implant removal, and they say nasal cartilage repositioning is essential. Wouldn’t this have any side effects? What happens if I don’t do it? I had Gore-Tex and ear cartilage used…
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoSep 3 How is Dr. ㅅㅇ's style???
How is Dr. ㅅㅇ's style? The consultation time is also very short, and the way of saying "if you have anything you want to ask, ask it"—can they handle it well on their own for surgery?
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoSep 3 Cartilage showing through around the columella scar and right in front of the nostril.. It’s getting worse…
The cartilage is showing through, but it hasn’t even been 2 months since surgery yet I also had open irrigation, so if I want revision surgery I have to wait until 6 months, but the show-through is getting worse and now it’s completely…
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoSep 3 Removal question at about 2 months
I overdid it recently about 10 days ago, and my nose swelled up, so I got an antibiotic injection and a prescription. It got better, but these days I haven’t been sleeping well, and it’s swelling again. In the early stage after surgery, is
