Not total removal, but has anyone had revision surgery on a nose that used Medpor or mesh while replacing silicone? My surgery is this week, and I’m going into revision surgery while having the Medpor removed, so I’m really worried Has anyone had revision surgery at the same time as Medpor or mesh removal?

진진짜리 [@안심심] My primary surgery was so hard, so the revision barely hurt!! Once the cotton is removed and the splint comes off, you’ll get better quickly
진진짜리 [@안심심] And also... since you never know what can happen, when you go for follow-up visits, ask about every detail of the surgery: whether the Medpor was removed cleanly, how much septal damage there was because of the Medpor, and so on. Also get a copy of the surgical records. Right after surgery is when the doctor remembers things best, so it’s good to ask everything now. If you can get photos or anything like that, get them too...
