I had nose surgery at a clinic in February, in winter, and time passed without me even noticing. Now August is already almost over hahaha. Time really seems to fly. After nose surgery, at first, taking the retainer in and out was bothersome, and I remember it being a bit hard because I had some bruising. Other than that, I honestly don’t really remember much anymore lololol When I look at my before-surgery photos, I realize again just how low my nose used to be.. haha My nose was extremely low, almost Voldemort-level, so I had 5 mm of silicone inserted. At first, I wondered if even that might be a bit insufficient, but after getting the surgery, I think choosing 5 mm was the right call. It raised my nose naturally, just enough to suit my image without being excessive! For the nasal tip, I heard autologous costal cartilage is the most sturdy and, since it’s my own cartilage, there are no side effects, so I chose that. It only hurt and bothered me in the beginning, and after that it barely bothers me at all!! The pulling sensation at the nasal tip has completely disappeared too, so I don’t feel anything and I like it haha At first, because my nose was so low, I considered filler too, but I didn’t do it because it isn’t permanent and can spread. For me, nose surgery definitely seems better, as long as you get through the initial discomfort! I hope it stays well like this for 10 or 20 years without revision surgery!!
