I went for a consultation at Jeongwon, and they said they can do both the nasal bridge and nasal tip with costal cartilage. Has anyone here had surgery that way? Since dermis is skin, I feel like it would absorb too easily, and they said cartilage is still on the firm side so it hardly absorbs, but I’m torn For my first surgery I did use silicone, but looking long-term, I feel like revision surgery without an implant wouldn’t be bad either. The cost is scary, so I’m being cautious.. Are there any other clinics that do both the nasal bridge and tip using autologous costal cartilage like this? If you know any, please recommend them
라이너 It’s thick, so it’s not good. Better not to do it..
BeTt [@라이너] Oh really? It seemed like they grind the cartilage into powder and then put it into a mold to make it. What part is thick and not good..?
라이너 [@BeTt] It could become uneven because it gets absorbed.
run1 I heard it can warp.
BeTt [@run1] I am torn.. I heard that if you put in silicone, you basically need revision surgery about once every 10 years, so I wanted to avoid implants as much as possible. But hearing things like this makes me worry again The cost was seriously no joke..
run1 [@BeTt] I worried a lot about my nose too. With silicone, someday there will be a time when you have to do it again, and I never wanted to do it again, so this time I put in donated dermis. But the line isn’t as pretty as silicone. It’s just that I don’t have to worry about side effects.
BeTt [@run1] But are you still satisfied?? When did you have the surgery?
BeTt [@run1] Oh really?? Can I ask which part you’re not happy with..?
