It’s day 13 after V-line surgery

I think everyone with a square jaw feels the same way. No matter how pretty your eyes, nose, and mouth are, you end up covering your face shape tightly with your hair, and on windy days.. sigh.. Going to the hair salon is so stressful. You go to the salon to look prettier, but then you look in the mirror and feel like crying.. Can you show off pretty earrings to other people? Do sunglasses even suit you? A baseball cap? I’ve never even worn one. My chin was also straight across, so it gave an even broader impression. When I wore my hair down, people said I was pretty, but when I tied it up, they asked why I had gained so much weight, so I had a lot of empty facial space, lol. But now, of course there is swelling, but even a baseball cap suits me. Since yesterday, chewing has improved too, so I’m eating rice. Wouldn’t the wounds inside the mouth recover faster if I eat well? The swelling is worst when I wake up in the morning, but by daytime it looks a little slimmer. They said that after about 2 weeks, the face looks about the same size as before surgery, and I think that’s true. There is no problem at all with social activities. Next Tuesday, I’m going to the hospital to get an anti-swelling injection, have the intraoral stitches removed, and receive the second round of swelling care. If you’re considering facial contouring, I think you’ll all relate to the same experience as me. Definitely do it! It’s only been 13 days for me, but I already think I did well to have it done. You can’t live your whole life like the things I described above. If you think about the risks of surgery or the pain, you won’t be able to do anything. If you do it at a hospital with experienced and excellent medical staff, it’s not a life-threatening surgery either. It’s nothing much^^ Just endure pain for exactly 3 days, and after that you only have to wait for the swelling to go down. Instead of looking in the mirror several times a day waiting for the slim contour hidden by swelling to come out, I’ve decided to take it easy, be patient, and wait calmly.
