I naturally have a long lower face and a well-developed jaw. I even had orthodontic treatment twice. I also have asymmetry, so to improve the asymmetry and reduce my square jaw, I regularly get Botox that does not cause resistance. I’m quite afraid of developing resistance, so I leave a generous interval and get it about every 7 to 8 months. I used to get German Xeomin, but I heard that a newly released Korean Botox called Coretox also does not cause resistance, so I’ve been getting Coretox since about a year ago. It definitely does have an effect. My jaw does become a bit slimmer. Interestingly, after half a year, I start feeling like my face is going through an awkward phase When I get it again around then, I can definitely see that I look a little prettier But Botox alone doesn’t really correct asymmetry well!! Maybe I would need to get filler together with it? I’ve never had filler even once in my life, but lately I’ve been thinking a lot about my face shape.. So I’m considering trying filler too, but I’m debating whether it would be better to just have surgery or to get filler. For example, I have concerns like a well-developed lower face or a sunken forehead. Maybe because I’ve never had filler before, I’m still afraid of side effects.. They say filler doesn’t ever disappear from the face for life unless it’s scraped out. I keep thinking things like, if I’m going to get filler, wouldn’t fat grafting be better, or wouldn’t double-jaw surgery be better..?!! Those are the reasons I’m still hesitating about filler. I want a natural look and only need to improve my complexes, but filler is still relatively mobile inside the face compared with surgery.
